PERFUME COLLECTION

Hello beautiful eyes reading! 

Today I wanted to share my perfume collection. These are some bits and pieces I've been collecting for as long as I can remember. 

First of all, my perfume preferences are always around floral and fresh scents, although latelly I've been more into stronger but still not overpowering ones. It all really depends on how each perfume reacts to your skin because the same perfume put on different people might seam a totally different one. That's why I recommend, and I always do this, to spray them on you instead of on the papers they give you to test.

For instance, one time I remember buying that one rose perfume that I really loved and then, after wearing a couple of days it started to make me dizzy and gave me a headache so I gave it to my mom (obviously she did like it haha).

Also in my case when I spray myself with perfume it tends to react in a way that it turns down the power of it. Putting my favourite at the moment, J'ADORE from DIOR, when I've just sprayed it is almost  to overpowering for my taste, but a few minutes later it turns half as powerful and adapts to my skin, which I really love. So, really, I can get away with strong perfumes without smelling like a crazy old lady (no offens to old ladys, just saying some people get too much creative with the perfume spray session everyday hahaha).

WHAT'S IN MY BAG? - LONGCHAMP LE PLIAGE

I don't really bring too much stuff in my bag for the everyday basis, unless I've got class. Then I want to kill myself (well... maybe just my shoulder wants to kill me) because it's reaaaaally heavy, but that's life, you know?

First of all, normally I wear this type of bag, which has a zipper (very handy for the every day public transport life in Barcelona...) which is more secure that "open bags" and totes where anybody can put their hand in. At first you may feel a relieve because weirdly enough your bag just turned into a sweet little cloud that weights nothing but feather-like. Immediately later, and normaly too late too, you realise "OM*G!!! my bag is emptyy!!".

Yes, welcome to my life.
So yes... that's really convenient for me.

I also want to point out that it is also a great purse to travel with. As the name itself suggests, you can fold it and put it in your carry-on bag and it takes no space at all. The only inconvenient I've found so far is that because of its minimalism it doesn't have propper pockets or departments inside (besides the tinny pocket that fits something like a phone), so I bought a purse organizer to put inside of it. I know it sounds kind of ridiculous to buy a bag to put in your bag... but it's really handy and helps a lot in the process of changing bags. You just take out the organizer and put it on the other purse. And VOILÁ! You don't have to spend half an hour changing all the stuff from one handbag to another like I did before, and thats why I always ended up not changing my handbag ever.

My must-haves are my wallet, phone (which doesn't appear because I was taking the pictures with it), Compeed (any shoe in the world will find a way to try to amputate my feet... luckily, they haven't succeed yet), lipbalms (although in the picture does not appear too many lip products, I swear that at some point I might have carried like 10 different ones "just in case"), my public transport ticket, sunglasses (my current favourites and the ones I wear on the casual days are the HALLY&SON ones that you see in the picture), perfume (I put it in this little flask, really convenient and handy because takes the same space as a lipstick, whick is almost none) and a notebook where I always write ideas, thoughts, reflections...

FAVOURITE SUMMER LIPSTICKS - ORANGE AND CORAL

Today I wanted to share my favourite orange lipsticks of the moment, which I think are perfect for spring and summer.

I had never been brave enough to wear orange on my lips, or any bright lipsticks at all really. But recently, I've been loving it. I normally wore more of a statement eye with some winged eyeliner and golden natural eyeshadow to give more protagonism to my eyes and make them appear bigger.

And now it's just the opposite. I love wearing natural eyes (but I must say that I don't ever leave the house without mascara, which is what makes your eyes more defined; and for me it's a great symbol of femeninity, without mascara I don't feel my make up is complete!).

Onto the orange lipsticks!! (from left to right)

1. BOURJOIS - COLOR BOOST: in the color 03-ORANGE PUNCH. I love it for and everyday basis. It's really moisturizing and has a glossy finish. Adds a pop of colour without being overwhelming.
2. DELIPLUS - DOLCE VITA: in the color 05. Here we have a matte lipstick with the best lasting power of all. It's really bright and I love it for taking pictures!
3. MAX FACTOR: in the color 625-MAGENTA DIVINE. This one is more of a pinky color with a shine to it. more similar to a frosting finish. This is a more natural option. The MaxFactor lipsticks are really creamy and smooth but also really light in the consistancy. You don't even feel like you are wearing lipstick!.
4. MAXFACTOR: 825-PINK BRANDY. Of all of the ones shown from this brand this is the most orangey. Same formula as the previous  one with the slight diference of this one not being a frosting finish, there is no shine particles to it. I find that with this particular range, even if you apply it and take it of a couple of minutes later, you are left with a tint of the color which I love because this is what makes it last longer and makes it more natural when it starts to wear off during the day. Almost seems as if it were your own lip colour.
5. MAX FACTOR: 827-BEWITCHING CORAL. As the name suggests this is more corally than the previous. Same thing as the other two, really cute.

BLUE PASTEL NAILPOLISH - Nail Of The Day #NOTD

Today I wanted to post my most recent manicure with the color UPTOWN BLUE - 20 from the MAYBELLINE SUPER STAY GEL NAIL COLOR 7 DAYS.

First of all, when I saw this color in the drugstore it immediatelly caught my eye because of the beautiful pastel blue color, perfect for summer and the blue trend.

I recently have been loving mixing diferent tones of blues to my outfit and accessories, which makes this nailpolish the perfect choice for making the trend happen and adding a different touch of blue to your outfit.

The formula is very opaque and when applying makes perfect thin coats and really easy and quick drying. I personally applied 2 coats for a more polished look, but it would have been perfectly fine with one.

The lasting is also really great, especially for a drugstore brand. I'm one of those people whose manicure doesn't barelly last one entire day, and this one has already made it to the third without a chip.

I also really need to give the majority of the credit to the SECHE BASE base coat. Which I recently discovered and is now my favourite base of all time.

Lastly, pared with those I applyed the ASTOR PRO MANICURE BE BRILLIANT SHINE TOP COAT.
